This is an inverter circuit for a powerbook. This was removed from a Powerbook G3 Lombard Bronze, although it may work in other powerbooks. Circuit dismantled from a working machine This circuit provides power to the LCD screen backlight. If the screen is not lighting up but machine otherwise seems to be working, the fault is likely to be either the inverter or the cold cathode lamp. Intermittent faults normally caused by inverter.
